With heart of slight sadness, but much joy, I announce that this will be the last organised event from Dance Liberation!
After 4 years of facilitating Conscious dance events i feel it's time to move on and dedicate more time to facilitating Dharma activities.
(I'll be keeping my mixing desk so I can DJ at other events if the opportunity arises).
Ill be sharing the 'Soundtrack of my Life'. Selecting music from the past and present that has inspired me and made my heart sing!
Deep meditative rhythms and world music to nourish our bodies, spirits and minds, fun packed disco & 80’s classics, to funky fresh electro beats and driving tech-house tones. It will be a night to let your hair down and embrace this finale dance in style.
The dance will finish with an amazing healing! (and probably some tears)
7.30 pm - Music lead movement and dance with DJ Buddha Chris.
9.20 pm High vibrational Chakra healing.
9.40 pm - Closing circle.

Ill be sharing music that reflects the title. Let us come together for a special night of holistic movement and joy, cultivating a radiant love in the heart that comes from the unique feeling of unity and happiness in sharing the space as one.
The dance will finish with high vibrational healing tones to calm and balance the whole being.

7.45 pm - Music lead movement with DJ Buddha Chris.
9.45 pm Deep relaxation and healing tones
10 pm - Closing circle.

FINDING FREEDOM IN ISOLATION - THE REBIRTH OF HOPE

Ill be sharing a lovely upbeat and fun set with loads of classics from over the years of disco, house, techno & synth to bring some joy and lightness in this current atmosphere of fear and uncertainty.

YULE - THE FESTIVAL OF RE-BIRTH & THE RETURN OF THE SUN

With the end of the longest night we welcomed the return of the Sun, the return of light, hope and promise!
It was a time to celebration, to rejoice in the new things to come.
We greeted this cosmic change with acceptance and joy in our hearts!
The music will embodied this energy of optimism and transformation, ending with a unique chakra healing from Helen's giant crystal singing bowls.
Let us release the dark, and embrace the vibrant light that emerges, dancing our way to a new beginning, a new freedom!

The motivation is Sangha - Community - Union!
The Theme is "Me casa su casa" 'my house is your house', this one earth, our shared home!
We came together in community and heart and share in the bliss and joy of liberating dance!
A great turn out and a strengthening of friendship, insight and loving kindness.
Helen finished with a nourishing healing gong bath which was cosmic in all aspects!

CACAO CEREMONY & SHAMANIC TRANCE DANCE

Will Lawton will be holding and nurturing the space with his resonating hang drum, accompanied by the pulsing rhythm of the African Djembe. Later on he will weave the Dj's together with a tapestry of live piano and a voice that speaks of love and loss, truth and lies, the whole spectrum of this painful, yet magical existence we call life. How do we 'greet' this heart, how do we heal!
While the soothing sounds flow, we will drink this ancient elixir of plant medicine, sharing in the sacred heart opening ceremony of the cacao!
DJ’s Buddha Chris & Sciaman Tone will be tuning into the deep vibe of Shamanic energy, creating a trance dance to connect with, a collective energy to go deep into your journey.
With the spirit of the cacao flowing, and our hearts released to the truth, our tribe will come together, and dance again as one!

We were very humbled by the great support and kind feedback we received.
Buddha Chris shared Latin grooves and feel-good vibes, the transcendental to tech house, from mystical melodies to ecstatic beats!
Sciaman Tone flowed through a journey of space and sound, from ambient into trancey tones, from dub reggae to jungle grooves and more.
Free vegan cake on arrival and home brew Yogi tea is being served.
Come along and see if you can open up to a new freedom of movement, enjoying the great health benefits that conscious dancing brings.
